S. ANDREW'S, CAMBRIDGE.

The anniversary festival in connection with the above Church was held on Wednesday the 30th ultimo. On the previous evening an open air social was helfl in the parsonage grounds, which was well attended. The Cambridge Band enlivened the proceedings with several well pkyed selection*, and tho Rev. Geo. McMurray, of St. Marys, Parnell, gave an address on " God's work and God's workers," which was attentively listened to. On Wednesday the clergymen who had been invited to attend the festival together with the church officers and their wives, had " high tea " in tho schoolhouse, which was provided by some of the ladies of the congregation. At 7.30 pm. there wivs choral evensong in the church, which had been very prettily decorated for the occasion, the preacher being the Rev. G. McMurray. He delivered a somewhat lengthy discourse, but everyone was so enraptured with it that it sefitned to occupy only a few moments. The other clergymen who took part in the service wore Archdeacons Clark of Waimate, ami Willis ; the Rev?. F. G. Evans (Tβ Aroha). R. O G. BisKS (Hamilton), aud Wiremu Te Waha (Wbangarei). Tho church was crowded and the service was our of the most hoarty that has been held in the building since its consecration. The choir acquitted themselves well (only ono blunder was made and that was the orennist's fault), and we trust the ohoral services that are to be continued to-morrow may prove equally satisfactory. Great credit is dno to the ladies who decorated the church, for they exhibited great taste.
