(by electric telegraph—copyright.) London, November 25. Sin E. C. Braddon, Tasmania, and Sir W. Clarke. Victoria, dissuaded the unemployed who interviewed them from emigrating. Sir J. C. Bray, South Australia, encouraged miners to go to the colonies. November 26. Four hundred of the unemployed interviewed Sir E. C. N. Braddon with regard to immigration to Tasmania. He replied that labourers were not wanted in that colony. The Acting-Agent General of Victoria denounced the proposal t* send the s.veepings of England to the colonies, and stated that Melbourne is already glutted with waifs and strays.
The police have forbidden the unemployed to march through the streets at midnight.
