BATHURST BURR.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir.—l enclose some snecimeus of a, plant which is growing freely alone the Waipa County Road near Heather Creek. The seed heads are new to mo, and being evidently a burr of some kind, it occurred to me that it tray be the dreaded Bathurst burr. Perhaps yon may be able to identify the plant.—l am, etc., Waipa Farmer.
