A man tianied Johnstone ani a woman named Harding have been found 011 the banks of Lake Wendouroo, Ballarat. suffering from bullet wounds. Mrs Harding and Johnstone recently eloped from Melbourne, and had decided to die together. The man first shot himself, and then the woman herself. Johnstone is recovering, but no hopes are entertained for Mrs Harding.
