Church, Bishop Cowie acting as celeuraut, assisted by Archdeacons i hidley, C-'arke and Willis and the Rev. Nelson. A number of clergy f>nd synodsn,en were seated in the body of the Church. A lai'Kß surplioed choir was present, under the Rev. Cutra-u (incmnbent of St. Matthew's Chinch) and the Res'. W. Calder, the service being a full choral one. Mr Tows-j- acted us organist, and the music used was (Gregorian. The doctor discovered a sin-ill bottle alongside the deceased which had some cryst dised powder in it. Under the circumstances the coroner decided to hold an inquest to-morrow.
