A HALF-HOLIDAY FOR CAMBRIDGE
At a meeting, held at Cambridge on Monday, it was unanimously decided to facilitate the working of "The Shop Assistants Act" by luakiof? Wednesday afternoon a general half-holiday. We hold oyer our report to make room for more pressing agricultural news, and also to allow of the list of those agreeing to the proposal to be completed, as several were not at the meetioff. Settlers should note that in future it will not be any use their going to Cambridge to do business after 1 p.m. on Wednesdays.
