At the Anglican Church Congrcs an animated discussion took place on vivisection, (luring which Bishops Barry and Moorhousc attacked the system proposed. The Bishop of Edinburgh declared that disastrous results would follow if it was supposed thiil Bishops Barry and Moorhousc were the voice of the Church in this nnuter. Dr. Victor Ilorsley, I'YR.S., attacked Bidiop Barry with considerable warmth, and quite a scene was the result. The remains of Lord Tennyson will bo publicly interred next to Browning's grave in Westminster Abbey on Wednesday. A Court Circular announces that Tor Majesty the Queen had s sincere regaid and great admiration for the late Loid Tennyson. New* York, October 7. A house occupied by forty nonunionists at Homestead was destroyed by dynamite. No lives were lost. Valparaiso, Octobers.
