R.M. COURT, HUNTLY.
Monday—(Before Capt. Jackson, K.M.) H. I'krry was charged by the police with disorderly conduct and creating a disturbance at a dance cneeiing on the night of August 24th last. Defendant admitted the offence., and was fined £1 and costs 21s, Fhiar, Davies AN'n Co. v. Karaka [t'vr.VNA.—Claim .till 12s od for goods supplied. Defendant was ordered to pay 10s per week.
Same v. Ralph Heron-.—Claim £20 for goods supplied. Defendant was ordered to pay 5s per week.
Harris v. Thos. Johnson.—Claim £4 14s for rent of house. Defendant, who is residing at Waihi, wrote, stating that he was not in a position to pay anything. The Court ordered him to pay £1 per month. \V. C. and S. Company fin liquidation) v. Weeks.—This was also a claim for rent of cottage, £1114s. Adjourned until next Court day.
_Hackett v. Hkta Terawhiti.—Claim los for oewt. potatoes, at 9s per cwt. Defendant stated that when he purchased the potatoes he understood they were to be ,'is per sack, which sum (!)s) he was prepared to pay into Court. The Magistrate was of opinion that defendant had acted from a wrong impression, and gave judgment for plaintiff for full amount with costs. The Court then rose.
