RAILWAY ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE SHOW.
The following letter hag been received by tlie Secretary to the Show from Mr Hudson, of the Auckland Railway Department. The contents of it will be advertised in due course, but we print it in extenso to show that Mr Huds.in is doing all he can to help the movement, and to make intending exhibitors and visitors aware of the special train arrangement at the earliest possible moment: —District Traffic Manager's Office, Auckland, October 3rd, 1892. In re Agricultural Show, at Hamilton. Memorandum for Martin Butler, Esq., Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association, Cambridge. Sir, —I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated September 28th, and in reply have to inform you that the Railway Commissioners have approved the issue of extended excursion tickets from Auckland, Newmarket, Onehunga and Ot.ahuhu to Hamilton East, on October2sth, 2(Jth and 27th, available for return up to October 28th, at the following fares :—Firstclass, ISs ; second-class, 12s. The following alterations and additions to the train service on October 27th, will be made in connection with the Show A. special train leaving Auckland, at 7 a.m., for Hamilton Ea«t, returning from Hamilton E.ist, at 4.10 p.m. The 2.2.} p.m. train from Fr.inkt'ln Junction to Ta Aroha, will leave Hamilton &ist at 4 p.m. The 2.5 p.m. ti'iiiu from l'Yinkton Junction to Cambridge, will leave Hamilton East at ij p.m. Special train will leave Hamilton East at 5 p.m. for Te Awamiitu.—l have the honour to be, Sir, your obedient servant, C. Hodson, District Traffic Manager.—ln addition to the above, we learn Mr Hudson will atf.n-d every facility for animals being unloaded at the Hamilton East Station platform, yards jiot having b»en erected.
