H.M.S. PINAFORE.
The second and third, which were the last performances of " Pinafore" took place on Tuesday and Wednesday (last night) nights : each performance went off with great eclat. The audience appeared to thoroughly appreciate the manner in which the opera was staged, and many have expressed their surprise that with such limited means at cornmaud so good a representation has been produced. Many of the items were Riven with far greater effect than on the opening niyht. but ihis may be accounted for from tho fact th:U a greut deal of the nervousness of some of the uetforiners —many of whom had never been on a stage before—had evidently worn off. We purpose givino , a more extended criticUin in our next issue.
