CAMBRIDGE CHRYSANTHEMUM SOCIETY.
In our advertising columns wijl be found a notice to the members, intending members, and friendt of the abovo Society to attend the annual meeting, which will be held on Tuesday next, the 23rd inst, in the Borough Council Chambers, at 7.30 p.m. We would impress upon members the necessity of attending the meeting as important altera-. tions will probably be made in the constitution of the Society ; a new committee will a'so be elected, and the date of the iinnual show be fixed. We would further impress upon members the necessity of sending in their applications fur the five plants their subscription entitles them to before the 31st of this month, as the selection list will be closed after that diite. Intending members should also make a note of this. After the meeting there will be & general talk about this " Queen of Autumn Flowers "and new members may gain a quantity of useful information. The selection lists may be sent to either Mr F. J. Brooks, at Cambridge, or Mr Geo. Bdgecumbo, at Hamilton.
