MR BRYCE'S PETITION.
NOTHING has yet been docided by the Petitions Committee respecting Mr Bryce's affair. It ia probable that the matter will be left over until the conclusion of the financial debate, so that the House may have an opportunity of discussing it. Thn Hon. W. P. Reeves, motion for a general whitewashing, as well as the motion by Mr Allen in favour of recommending that the vote of censure on Mr Bryce be expunged, was lost. Messrs Allen, Lake, Moore, and Swao voted for it, ani five, viz., Messrs Cadman, Earnshaw, Houston, W. Kelly, •ndE. M. Smith opposed it.
