A MISREPRESENTATION.
TO THE EDITOR. Sin,— Knowing that your columns are ever open to the weak and oppressed as well as to the rich and great I feel sura that you will not refuse to insert in your paper a complaint of injustice to even a poor boat. I have my home on the beautiful waters of Raglan Harbour and am and always have bnen roady to help all that required my assistance and no one has ever had cause tn complain of my having been either inattentive or overcharging for my services, I have conveyed good* to all parts of the harbour and picnic parties whenever required and to do this well have given employment to two men to help me. What I complain of is that your correspondent has written to you what he knows is an untruth, viz., that the settlers have experienced verv great difficulty in getting their goods delivered and he speaks of the great doings of the new cutter (new broom sweep clean). What are tbe facts ? Goods have taken over a week to deliver that I should (with my captain and officer Vercoe and Lumber) have delivered in two days. I could explain more why this is done but will not trouble you, and if you insert this you will earn the gratitude of Rangatiha.
