So boys you've been defeated ? Well, we sympathise with you But you've been a bit conceited Thus my lads, they put you thrsugh 'Tis an axiom old and threadbare, As most of you must know, That there's always rocks ahead where Fellows underate the foe. We congratulate the victors On their meritorious win, And unless we're poor predictors, You will not allow chagrin To prevent you, when you meet them On the football field again From extending hands to greet them In goodfellowship, like men.
And now my lads, jast listen To a word or two from me 'Twill make your friends' eyes glisten Should they have the lusk to see You once again victorious, When you meet those Huntly chaps And we'll Ivive a spree, uproarious When you win those " blooming " caps. TUARANOI.
