WILFUL MURDER.

' Ku-Waba, Last Night. ■AT the adjourned inquest on the body of -John Conlon, a man who died sud.denly on the 14th June iu great agony from internal paiua, the evidence of Constable ..Mackiiy showed that Mr Slceys , report ?tated that arsenic had been found in larße qnautities in the liver, atomuch, and intestines which liad been submitted to him. The evidenco also proved that on .June 10th deceased a wite purchased " Kourli on Rats, saying that she required it to poison rats. On June 14th Conlon died in terrible asony. At first Mrs Conlon denied the purchase, but subsequently she admitted that her husband asked her to set the poison for rats and cats. She said lie spread it on bread and butter, though she did not see him do so. The inquest adjourned to enable the evidence of tho Government analyst t'j bo taken. Mrs Conlon was arrested last night on a charge o£ wilful murder.
