WAITOA ROAD BOARD.
+. The ordinary monthly meeting of the abovenamed Board took place in the Nottingham Castle Hotel, Morrinsville, last Saturday. Present: Messrs W. P. Ghepmell, J. Horrell, W. Main, R. Parr, and J. Gordon. Mr Chepmall was appointed chairman and treasurer. Fr.rthecontractonGrattan'sßoad the following tenders were received :—G. C. Deveroll, £60; J. Shine, (accepted), £40. For the contract on Burbridge's Road the following tenders were received :—W. Sweeney. £13 10s; E. Adolph, £13 9s; J. Parr, £12 5s ; H. Ross, £12 ; G- C. Deverell, (accepted), £1119s. For the Waihekau. drain contract, the following tenders were received:—W. H. Williams, Sa (id per chain; G. C. Deverell, 7s per chain.—lt was decided to get tlin Stanley road repaired from the Ohinemuri Comity boundary to the railway crossing near Te Aroha, regarding which Mr Bowler and others wrote.—lt was alec decided to get Lovegrove's road repaired.—The engineer reported on the Toenepi Creek contract, and it was decided that the contractor be allowed to defer the work for the present.— The following accounts were passed for payment:—A. Bremner, £G 5* 9d ; W. railcard, 12s; 0. Willie. £4 10s; W.J. McCannick, £13 ss; J. Bew, £20 10s; F Pavitt, £3 15s; H. and J. Clifford, £1 10s 3d ; G. C. Deverell, £1 lGs ; J. Shaw. £18; J. S. Ingram, £1 4s ; petty cash, *.-.
