(by electric telegraph.—copyright). Sydney, May 27. New Zealand potatoes are quoted at from £2 9s to £3 per ton. The steamer Oakleigh is ashore at the entrance to the Richmond Biver, and is lying in a dangerous position. It is feared she will become a total wreck. There is a depression in the Northern coal trade, and the Young Wallsend, Great North, Monk, Wearmouth and Maitland collieries have ceased work. The steeplechaser Graf ton fell in a steeplechase yesterday, and ruptured himself. He died while on the way to his stable.
