(BY ELKOTEIC TELTOBAPH.—OOPYBIGHTr). Melbourne, May 2G. In the House of Assembly,, Mr Wheeler moved that an address be presented to the Governor, asking for the removal of the Railway Commissioners. In doing so, he declared that there was no course open to the Government but to seek for the removal of the Commissioners. A petition was also presented by Mr Baker from the Commissioners asking that they be allowed an opportunity of defending themselves. The debate has baen adjourned. May 27. Sir Gavan Duffy has rejoined the Cabinet without a portfolio. Mr F. Mason has been appointed Chairman of Committees in the . Legislative Assembly. The debate on the motion praying for the suspension of the Railway Commissioners, is not yet concluded.
