CAMBRIDGE SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
A meeting of the above committee was held on Monday evening, in the Borough Council Chambers. Present: Messrs J. P. Thomson (chairman), H. Webber, J. Wells and R. W. Sargent. The minutes of tho previous meeting were confirmed. Balance Shskt. —The balance sheet for the year ending March 31st was presented. It was approved, and duly endorsed by the Chairman. The funds are in credit to the extent of £3 10s more than at this time last yea?. Inspectors' Report.—lnspector Crowe reported he had inspected the school on March lOtli.and found everything in a very satisfactory condition. He told the chairman that very great improvement had bneu made during the past twelve months. The committee expressed their gratification ut the general tone of the inspector's repc.rts. Accounts.—The following accounts were passed for payment.—Jas. Meredith, 8s ; W. Souter and Co., 10s ; T. Wells, 5s 3d. .Several minor matters were attended to and the meeting broke up.
