Only 1 cwt to the acre of manure was used and this grand yield shows in a very practical manner the splendid capabilities of the Raugiaohia land. Eastek Day.—Next Sunday the Rev. John King Davis will preach at St Johns' Church in theevnning aud not in the morning as previoasly stated. Waipa Racing Club.—A meeting of the Committe of the Racing Club was held last night, when the balance sheet showing the result of the last years' races was read and adopted. There was a credit balance of cash in hand of about £17. It was decided not to hold the annual races until next November, as it was now too late in the year to do anything this season.
