HAMILTON FOOTBALL CLUB.
The annual ineetinn "f the members of the Hiunilt m Football Club was held in Tub Waikato Timks Buildings (in Satmdav evening. There was a, good attendance of member.-;, Mr W. Hammond (captain) in the chair. The Secretary's report nf the past season was read and adopted, and the balance-sheet appnvfid. Tl>b following officers were then elected :—President, L. O'N'nill, K<q. (re-elected) ; Vice-Presi>lents, Messrs J. McNicol, G. Edgecnmbe. T. G. ■Siindea, I. C<iates L. Cussen, 11. F. Sandes, and H. Quick ; captun, Mr \V. Hammond (re-elected); depuly-captiin, Mr J. H. Hume; hon. sec. and treasurer, Mr C. G. Kmix ; committee, Messrs J. Gilleu and F. B. Jolly, with the other officers. It was deeded to again join the Auckland Rugby Union as a country club. A vote of thanks was accorded by acchmmntion to the retiring secretary (Mr R. J. Gwynne) for valuable services to the club in past seasons. A vote of thanks waR also passed \<i Mr McNicol for driving the team to Ngaruawnbia on the occasion of the Hnntly match. The annual subscription for senior members was fixed at ss, and for juniors (under 17) at 2< OJ. Mr R. J. Gwynne offered a silver medal for the best pliy during the season. The committee was instructed to confer with the Hamilton Cricket Club and arrange as to the ground. A number of new members were elected.
