AuPtr.ilia. and who has been lingering on at the Hospital ever since, died to-d;ty. The business at the Public Trust Office in March was the largest on record, 37 different properties being placed under its administration. The recent chants have decreased the c»st in several directions, especially in small estates.
The inspection of Mt, Cook Barracks shows that the drainage is allowed to pass through an untrapi'ed drain. A report has been sent to Hon. R. Seddon condemning the syst-jm.
At 4.30 p.m., the R.M.S. Arawa arrived from London via way-ports, after an uneventful voyage. She brines 48 passengers ;ind 1600 tons of cargo fur New Zealand.
