VALUE OF LIME.

Tub value of lime is much appreciated by fruit-growers and farmers in New South Wales. There it is used largely, and with the best results. We notice, however, that the price in the neighbouring colony is very much lower than it in with us, though the reason for this is not quite so clear. As an instance, lime can be obtained from the New South Wales Lime Company at Ben Culleu, aud from several other firms, at the reasonable price of 9s Oi per ton.
