CRICKET.

The match between the Tuhikaramea and Taupiri Clubs, played at Ngaruawahia on Saturday last, resulted in a win for the latter by 15 runs. The following table shows the positions of the clubs playing for the medals presented by the Waikato Cricket Association. Six matches have to be played .by each club :—Hamilton, 5 wins and 1 loss ; Tuhikaramea, 3 wins and 3 losses ; Taupiri, 3 wins, 2 losses, and 1 match to play (Cambridge) ; Cambridge, 5 losses and 1 match to play (Taupiri). The foregoing does not contain the results of the matches played by Paterangi, who are not playing for the medals this season. The match between Hamilton and Taupiri on Saturday is a club match, and does not count in the competition for the medals.
