MESSRS ALLEN AND GO.'S VOLCANIC SOAP.

Messbs Allkn AND Co.'s volcanic scouring soap is becoming more popular with the public almost every day, and large orders are continually being received for this very useful article, as many as forty cases being sent away in less than a fortnight, to Auckland, as well as smaller quantities to the different townships in Waikato, and also to Te A'oha and tho Thames. Owing to the continued demand, the company have added a quantity of machinery—about £70 worth—to the business, which is now on the premises, and will shortly be erected. Testimonials have been received by tho company from tho Auckland Hospital, several of the loading butchers in Auckland and a number of others, pronouncing the soap Al, and no doubt, when this very valuable article becomes more generally known the demand will increase to the extent that Messrs Allen and Co. are deserving of, for producing an article with such cleansing properties. The great superiority this soap-has over any other in the market is that it will not waste away in the water, and will take stains out of wood-work, qualities that the fair sex especially appreciate.
