BI TELEGRAPH.— PRKSS ASSOCIATION). INVERCARGILL, Last Night. Mr TreGbar inspected the Invercargill factories and found the majority in a satisfactory condition. He left for the North this morning. Thirty-five men employed by the New Zealand Pine Company have struck for an increase of a shilling a day. At present they get seven shillings. An amicable settlement is probable. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The New Zealand Times this morning announces the change of proprietorship, and that in future a broad and thorough support will be given to the principles and policy of the Liberal party. At the University Senate Mr Tole was re-elected as the Senate's member on the Board of Governors of the Auckland Grammar School. The Premier left for Waneanui by this morning's train. Ho will be abseut eight days.
