(BY TELEGRAPH.—PRBSS ASSOCIATION), WELLINGTON, Last Night. Fifty-six cases of typhoid fever are under treatment in the hospital, a< against 12 last year. Three-fourths of the canes are from one particular locality of the city. The new company take over the New Zealand Times to-morrow. No changes are to be made in the etaff at present, but the style of the paper will be considerably altered. BRUNNERTON, Last Night. The Railway Hotel at Richardson (Mrs Morrissey, lessee), was burned to the ground this morning. The inmates escaped in their night dresses. Nothing was saved. The fire spread to the adjoining premises, destroying Johnstone's butcher shop and cottage, from which very little was eaved. The insurance on the hotel waa £800. The loss is considerable, as the hotel was the finest in the district.
