LATE MR SPURGEON.
(BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.— COPYRIGHT.) London, February 1, Rev. C. 11. Sturgeon died of Bright's disease. Ho never recognised anj'onc after Saturday night. The family desire the remains should be buried at Mentone, but will consent to a public funeral in London if the deacons of the church desire it. The press, in their comments on Mr Spurgeou's death recogniso that ho had taken broader views latterly, especially towards the Church of England.
