STEAMER ASHORE.
(BY KLIICTIUa TELEGRAPH.—COPYRIGHT). London, February 2. TiiK German Lloyd's steamer Eider, during a heavy fog in the Channel, went ashore at the Isle of Wight. She had :JOO passengers on board at the time, all of whom were rescued through the gallantry of the lifeboat crews. The German steamer Eider is filling, and no hopes are now entertained of saving her.
