Just before fiv« o'clock tonight inspector 'I'hoinson received ;i wire from Coroner Hall, at Napier t!n>t he cinnot arnvu till to-morrow ; afternoon. Mr Tliomson replied urging him to reconsider his decision, and in the event of his bemg unable to do so the inquest will not till 0 p.m. All the witnesses, jury, et3., are here, and the police intend to bring ths enquiry to a close to-morrow night, however late it may be before all the evidence is taken.
