HAMILTON DOMAIN BOARD.
The monthly meeting of the above Board was held on Tuesday evening, Present: Mr. Coates, (chairman) and Messrs Sandes, Salmon and Bell. Lake.—Permission was granted to the Hamilton Swimming Club to charge sixpence admission to the Lake Reserve on the 29th January on the occasion of the annual gala. Accounts.—'The following accounts were passed for payment:—T. \V. Maundur, 17h 8d; J. E. Hammond, £1 2s 6d ; Kusabs and Sons, £27 3s 9d; T. Evans, £25 14s Sd; J. Parr, £12 9s 3d. Pavilion.—The Secretary reported that £G 3s Gd had been received from the Pavilion up to date.—A vote of thanks was passed to the Sports Committee for the donation of 5 per cent, of the prize money towards the pavilion fund. A vote of thanks was also accorded to Mr C. A. Davis for the trouble he had taken over the pavilion. —It was decided that the charge for admission to the pavilion be fixed at sixpence, and that no smoking be allowed on it. Sydney Square.—'The chairman's action in granting the VVaikato Cricket Association the right to charge admission to Sydney Square on New Year's Day was confirmed.
