WOOL SALES.
(BY TBLKUK.U'H.—OWN COIiI{K.SrO.VDKN'T). Auckland, Last Night. At the second series of wool wiles "f the SPiisun tu-day at Messrs Buckland's, Hniiter and Nolan's, G. W. Binneys and tlie Loan and Mercantile, there was a good attendance of buyorii, and good prices were realised. The prices for all grades of wool ranged about the same as at last sales. Mr Buckland reports having sold DOS bales this morning, the ruling prices being :— Merino, 7.|d to 8d ; half-bred, 7d to Tfd ; crossbred, to 7Jd ; longwool, Od to (Jj'd; Homney Marsh", 7d. Similar prices ruled at the sales held subsequently.

The wool sales closed to-day, bidding being fairly spirited up to the end. 111,000 bill's were soil for the Continent. !tOOO for America, 00,000 for Home consumption, and 5000 were held over, Compared with the opening prices, superior Merino and crossbreds were a trifle higher. Very burry sorts were easier, and other were unchanged. Oα the whole, prices have been irregular.
