CRICKET.
A meeting of the Waikato Cricket Association was held at Ohaupo on Tuesday, when delegates from the Cambridge, Paterangi, Tuhiknratnen, and Hamilton clubs were present. Mv Lang was in the chair. Tho following fixtures wore made for the remainder of the season : —January 9th, Tuhikaramea v. Taupiri, at Whatawhata; January lGth, Tuhikaramea v. It was agreed that should harvesting operations clash with the fixtures
that tho interested clubs could arrange another date to play tho match off. Arrangements were made to play theWaipaWaikato match Thursday, December 21th, on Sydney Square, Hamilton, at 11 a.m. The playGrs will be chosen from residents in the Waikato electoral district, and the Waikato river will be the lino between, Mr Hiuton, and the secretary (Mr C. Knox), wpfo appointed a committee to carry out arrangements. The team to represent Waikato against tho Auckland t- .. .!'.! partly be picked from the players in the county match.
