« (liv KLKCTIiIO TKI.KOIIAHI.—COPYHIOHT). Mkmim'KNK, November 27. An unusual scene took place at the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile. Agency Company's wool sale yesterday. A large number of spectators were present, but there were no buyers. It appears that in consequence of the refusal of the Sellers' Association to provide a central wool exchange, where all sales can be conducted, the Buyers' Association " struck." Auklaidk, November 27. The net protits of the railways for the year were £GOG,OOO, which is 5'32 per cent, on ths total capital.
