The rebels in Ilio have repulsed the attack made by the President's warships. Tbo President, has imprisoned all tho Rio Grando deputies, and intended to similarly treat those in Rio <le Janeiro, but four c.s<Mi».'<i. Those remaining wore taken into custody. November 21. It i.s reported that General Fonsecii is dying, and that lie otl'ors to recognise any local Government elected. The Rio Grando Junta declares that the deposition of General is imperative, and urges the residents of the province of fciaiita Cathariua to revolt. Moyrt Video, November 21. The Uruguay Republic remains neutral in connection with the Brazilian revolt.
