The Economist considers that the policy of Mr Lallaucc's Government jeopardises a large portion of £7d,000,000 of British .savings in> vested in New Zeland, which is quite unrepresented in the colonial Parliament. It further considers damage is done to New Zen land interests by the depreciation in the value of land.
