TAUWHARE.

A most enjoyable entertainment was held in the Tauwhare school, on Friday evening, in connection with the Sunday School. Most of the children who attend the school were present, also many of their parents and friends. Mr V. J. Brooks, of Cambridge, occupied the chair and discharged the duties pertaining thereto in a most satisfactory manner. The entertainment consisted of musical selections interspered with games, the latter being under the directions of Mr Graham, the schoolmaster. Tho performers wero: Misses Hansford (2), Oiprose (2), J. Walworth and Dodd ; Mr Cnurtayiiß and Master Dodd. The entertainment concluded about 11 p.m., a most sociabla aud pleasant evening having been spent.
