A MAN, believed to be named Thomas Reid, attempted to board the trajn from Invercargill to ])iinedin at Gore this afternoon, when he foil in front of a carriage, the wheels running over and killing biin instantaneously. Dunedin, Last Night.
Thomas Burns, an old man, dropped dead at Port Chalmers in a restaurant last night. He is supposed to have suffered from he.irt disease.
