NEW ARRANGEMENTS. FACILITIES FOR THE TOURIST TRAFFIC.

(bt telegraph—own lorrkspondent.) Auckland, Last Night. A fast train service will commonco on the Ist December, and extond to tho 31st March. Tho following is the time-table :— Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, depart from Auckland at 8 a.m., arrive at Oxford at 21"> p.m. ; lunch, from 2.25 p.m. to 3 p.m.: dap-irl from Oxford by conch at 3 p.m., arrive at Rotorua at 7.30 p.m. ; returning on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from Rotorua at 8 a.m. ; lunch at Oxford, from 1 to 2 p.m. ; depart from Oxford by train at 2.10 p.m., and arrive at Auckland at 8.25 p.m. Fifteen minutes, both on the np and down iourneys, will bo allowed at Mercer for refreshments. In addition to the above service, the mesont 9.35 a.m. train from Auckland will run to Oxford and Lichfield on Mondays and Fridays, returnine on Tuesdays and Saturdays. From December Ist, 1801, to March 31st, 1892, an extra train will run from Auckland to Te Aroha on Wednesdays, leaving Auckland at 8.35 a.m., returning from Te Aroha on the following day (Thursday), leaving Tβ Aroha at 7AO a.m. This will give a four time« a week train service to and from Tβ Aroha and Auckland, inalead of the present tri-wßeklv service.
