MrPetek Howe, M.P., aud Mr James Miller, formerly directors of the Australian Mercantile Loan and Guarantee Company, who were arrested on the 29th ult. at the instance of the Crown on a charge of conspiracy to defraud in connection with transactions of the company have been committed for trial.
