HAMILTON DOMAIN BOARD.
The usual monthly meeting of tho above Board was held on Tuesday evening. There were present: Messrs Coates (chairman), Salmon, Ball, Reid, Wood, Scott, Parr, and Sandes.
Sydney Square.—The action of the Chairman in granting the Hamilton Football Club the right to charge for admission to Sydney Squaro on October 10th was endorsed.—The secretary of the Hamilton Boxing Day Sports Committee wrote, stating that the surplus from the last sports had been expended in seats, six of which were now placed on Sydney Square. The donation was received with thanks. —Mr Salmon moved : "That six additional seats he obtained similar to these, and that the lot be varnished." Seconded by Mr Scott, and carried. —Mr Parr offered to enquire the price of iron seats, which ho would provide at the wholesale price.—Mr E. L. Hope, on behalf of the Sports Committee, applied for the right to charge admission (tine shilling for adults and sixpence for children under 14 years of age) to Sydney Square oil November 9th for the Birthday Sports, the surplus, if auy, to be devotod to the library fund. The application was granted. Payments.—The following account was passed for payment—viz., John Parr, £1 7s (! 1, for boneduat for the trees in the Park Reserve.
Boatshed. —Permission was granted to Mr K. F. Sindes to erect a boatshed on the foreshore of the lake.
