THE EDWARDS' CASE.
(BY TELEGRAPH.—I'RESS ASSOCIATION). Wellington, Last Night,. Information' was brought by the last English mail to the effect that the papers in tho Edwards' appeal case have reached Home, and the case stands upon the list for the Privy Council to come up in its turn for argument. Messrs Mackrell and tho regular London solicitors to the New Zealand Government, have been instructed to retain Sir Horace Davey, *2.C., and Mr Fiuley, Q.C., to argue the cas.o for the Government.
