WESLEY AN BAZAAR AT CAM BRIDGE.
Tub Wesleyan bazaar that was held on Friday and Saturday at Cambridge was a most pronounced success. It was held in the store that is known as Lewis and Simpson's, the owner having kindly grunted tho use of it at the request of Mr J. P. Thomson, and luncheou and tea were dispensed in a large room adjoining the town clerk's office, granted by the Borough Council. The store in which the bazimr was held was nicely decorated, Mrs l<. W. Browning having contributed lareely to this, by drapery, etc., that she kindly lent. Mr O. Roberts also added to the attractions by lending her piano. Tho stalls were presided ovor by Mesdames Clark, Giine, Garlaud, Nixon, and Priestlny, and the Misses Caley and Priestley. The refreshment stall was in Mrs Chas. Hunter s care. The luncheon and tea room was ably superintended by Mesdames Reynolds and Walker, assisted by an efficient staff of young ladies. Tho gross receipts wore £146, only £2 worth of goods being left over, and these wero purchased on Monday by Mr F. J. Sanders. In connection with this movement, a gift auction will be hald at an early dftto, many settlors having promised fowls, turkoya, otc, by which tho amount will doubtless be raisod to £l">0; a like sum will bo borrowed from the Church Loan Fund (which lends without interest), and the mortgage of €'100 that now exiets over the Cambridge East and West Churches will ba reduced to £100. Shortly before the bazaar closnd, at 10 p.m. on Saturday, the Rev. C. H. Garland thanked thoHe who had so kindly assisted in the undertaking
