The candidature of Dr. Broome is re garded as an absurdity. Mil Hlv.iiks' Farm'.—l am glad to mention that after a long period ot vacancy Mr Hughes' farm, better known as " Day's," is again about to be occupied, the tenant this time being a Mr Walters, from Pukekohe. I understand that Mr Walters is taking the place with a view of supplying the creamery, and will milk a large number of cows.
