CONFIDENCE IN MR BRYCE.

TO TUB KDITOK. Silt,—An I could not, in a public meeting, express myself so plainly or calmly as I could in a letter, I take this first opportunity to say I am thoroughly in accord with the meeting at Ohaupo, more especially with the resolution proposed by Mr Leeertwood, as it showed to Mr Bryce that he still has our confidence, our respect and sympathy. I would like to have seen his face when he got the message. Whatever he may have said, I know his feelings would be, "God bless and prosper Waikato." The resolution shows the feelings of an honest constituency towards an honest representative. When our own public men stood aside to honour Mr Bryce, they did honour to their country and themselves, I would just like to intimate to outside political aspirants that we want none of them, as there is but one John Bryce, and if ha cannot accede to our request we will have one of our own people, who has worked with us and for us the best part of a life time. I mention this in case an outsider may see 240 reasons why he should represent us. I believe in the above I have spoken tho ininds of the greater part of the electors.—Yours truly, S. S.
