It is believed the United States will officially recognise, the provisional Government. September <3. The Chilian coinage was the cause of President, Baliiiaoeda's downfall. The Junta legalises the notes issued by President Iklniaeeda, but confiscates the bank accounts of Loyalists in order to meet such notes. The insurgent army is being disbanded, and the censorship established over telegraphic messages is being removed. The whole country is tranquil. Mr Patrick Egau, Unite 1 States Minister to Chili, who has been accused of siding with the Cougressionalists, expresses anxiety for Congress to enquire into his actions, and denies tho charges of partisanship.
