THE WHATAWHATA BUTTER FACTORY.
I . On Wednesday tho trustees of tho Whatawhita bnlcur factory forwardud the second instalment of tllOO towards the repayment of the loan originally raised to erect the factoiy. Two-thirds of the loan ore nowpaid off, and there is little reason to doubt that another year will see the Whatawhata butter factory free from debt. The success which has attended our Whatawhata friends not only shows what a small district caii do when acting unitedly, but it also indicates in tha bust possible manner the advantages derived by settlers from the operations of a butter factory or creamery in their midst. We endorse the opinion recently expressed by Mr Coate.s that "beforo many years the Waikato will bo studded with creameries,"
