(BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION). Gisbornk, Last Night. Further examination of the accounts disclose defalcations of over £1000 by Piesse, secretary of the Building Society, who is supposed to have left for California. A warrant was issued this afteri.O"n for Ins arrest. The police have ascertained that Piesse purchased a portmanteau in Auckland the day the mail left, saving he was going to the Thames for a few days.
