CAMBRIDGE WEST

Public Hall.—A meeting of the inhabitants of Cambridge West was held ou Monday evening to arrange matters in connection with the Public Hall, in which building the meeting was held. Mr H. U. Hyatt was voted to the chair. The balancesheet was read and adopted. It was a most satisfactory one, as there is a credit balance of £3 0-3 sd, whereas at the eommenceinentof the term there was a liability of £7 17s Od. The following we.ro elected a Hoard of Trustees for the ensuing three years:—Messrs O. Garland, A. Mackinnon, C. Jarrett, J. Hall and John Tjooker. Vote 3 of thanks were accorded the outgoing committee for the services they had so faithfully performed during the past term, and Mr Hyatt for presiding, both being carried by acclamatiou. Thi3 concluded the business.
