CAMBRIDGE ROAD BOARD.
The above Hoard met at Hewitt's Hotel, Cambridge, 011 Saturday, at 2.110 p.m. Present: Messrs Kallendar (chairman), Taylor, I'aton and Forrest. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and continued. Audit. —The clerk reported that at last the accounts had been duly audited, and an approved balance-sheet received from Wellington.—The latter was duly signed by the chairman. Pi nan OK. —At dale tiie 13 nud had a debit balance of .£2!) l!ls 'J I.—A resolution wuh passed authorising the chairman to arrange with the bank authorities tor an overdraft of K'JOO, the amount of the rates. ttoAD Klit'AUW.—Mr C. Iv.ven wrote asking to have the road near his house repaired.—Jlr Forrest undertook to see to it as soon at the weather was favourable.
